The kettle's on, the sun has gone, another day. [il bollitore è su, il sole è andato, un altro giorno.]
She offers me, Tibetan tea, on a flower tray. [lei mi offre, tè tibetano, su di un vassoio a fiori.]
She's the door, she's want's to score, she really needs to say: [lei è la porta, lei è mancanza di realizzazione, lei ha davvero bisogno di dire:]

"I once loved you a long time ago, you know ["una volta tanto tempo fa ti ho amato, lo sai..]
Where the winds own forget-me-nots blow, you know. [dove soffiano i propri venti non-tiscordar-di me, lo sai.]
But I couldn't let myself go, not knowing what on earth there was to know. [ma non potevo lasciarmi andare, non sapendo quel che al mondo c'era da sapere.]

Across the room, inside a tomb, a chance is waxed and waned. [attraverso la stanza, in una tomba, una possibilità è agitata]
The night is young, why are we so hung-up, in each other's chains. [la notte è giovane, perchè siamo così ansiosi, uno nelle catene dell'altro.]
I must take her, I must make her, while the dove domains. [devo prenderla, devo farmela, mentre la colomba domina.]
See the jiuce run as she flies. [vedi il succo che scorre mentre lei vola.]
Run my wings under her sighs [corrono le mie ali sotto i suoi sospiri]
As the flames of enternity rise, [mentre le fiamme dell'eternità s'alzano]
To lick us with the first born lash of dawn. [per leccarci col primo ciglio nato d'alba]
Oh really my dear, I can't see what we fear, with ourselves, [oh davvero mia cara, non vedo che abbiamo da temere, col noi stessi]
sat here between us [seduto qui fra di noi.]

And at the door, we can't say more, than just another day. [e alla porta, non possiamo dire altro, soltanto un altro giorno.]
Without a sound, I turn around, and I walk away. [con un ruomore, mi giro, e vado via.]
